BLACK SERAPH
A lone Jesuit
priest, Father Dominic Lindquist, an operative for the most powerful and feared Secret Society on Earth, must do great evil
if good is to prevail. He must turn rogue to unravel a conspiracy to bring about Armageddon. From the filthy vice ridden back
streets of Paris and running gun battles in the bazaars of Istanbul to the gilded hallowed halls of Vatican City, Father Lindquist
moves in a corrupt world behind the purple and gold of Papal power. A world of despotic men who will go to any extreme to
maintain control of Mankind and Humanity’s future. This is the setting behind Black Seraph. A modern day thriller using
the alleys and gutters of Europe, the bazaars of Turkey and the turmoil of the Middle East as the moving canvas.
Over sixty
years ago, a small but powerful group with the ancient structure of the Catholic Church behind them and the might of the Vatican
as their instrument, came to an agreement to aid the Nazis in exchange for billions in gold and priceless works of art. In
doing this, the on-going Fourth Reich was able to continue their secret mission of ridding the Church, Europe and the world
of the Jews once and for all. After the end of the Second World War, a group of dedicated men and fanatic priests continued
the work started by the Reich, by funding every terrorist organization targeting Israel.
Father Lindquist, a highly
educated and trained Jesuit super-spy and assassin, must make amends for his own personal failures and in doing so is enlisted
by none other than the Pope himself. His mission is to challenge and destroy the authority and power of Cardinal Arturo Giovanni,
head of the Office of the Special Congregations, an immensely powerful arm of the Vatican, engaged in a plot to murder the
Pope so Giovanni can wear the Crown of Peter.
Assuming the disguise of an Arab terrorist named 'Abdul the Bandit,' Father
Lindquist creates a highly deceptive trap, using a genetically formulated biological weapon. The next generation of DNA specific
"Gene Bombs" that have been in development since WWII under PROJECT: 721, but only recently perfected. Codenamed
“Black Seraph,” it is designed specifically to target and kill only those of Jewish origin. Lindquist lures his
adversaries out into the open, where, with the help of his friend from Africa, Jean Philippe, a Carolinian monk and former
officer in the French Foreign Legion, they outwit and out fight the dangerous Cardinal Giovanni and the men that serve him.
The story takes
the reader from the slime and filth of the back streets of Paris, where Lindquist must deal with the lowest forms of life
on the planet, through ancient Greek monasteries equipped with the latest state of the art computer systems, to running gun
battles among the aged city of Istanbul. "Abdul" is at first hunted, then aided, by an older member of the Mossad,
Israel's intelligence service.
The story concludes in the gilded palaces and courts of the Vatican. It is here that
ancient justice is meted out in true fourteenth century fashion and where one is left at the end of the story with as many
questions or more than when the story started.
Behind the purple and gold of Papal power lays a world of corrupt and despotic men
who will go to any extremes to maintain control of the future of the world and its population, by force if necessary.
Add to this
mixture, men that hold their faith dear and yet will go to extreme lengths to protect their flock. This story could have come
right off the front page of any international newspaper of today.
