In the days before time began,
a great evil threatened all the British Isles and civilization itself. As the global climate changed and food became scarce,
a peaceful civilized people, called the Megalithics, were threatened by a mighty hoard that invaded from across the sea. The
warrior queen Gwevaragh, left with no other defense, called upon the magical power of the glowing green jewel mounted in the
hilt of Excalibur, known as the Meonia Stone. Using its horrific power, she opened the door to the astral plane and called
upon the demonic raven Oah-Tet, who, coming forth from its dank dimension, made short work of the invaders, only to turn on
Gwevaragh and her subjects. After great death and difficulty, Oah-Tet was beaten back into its own reality.
Gwevaragh decided no one person should possess the awesome power of The Meonia Stone, and divided its energy into
NINE LIGHTS, which she then stored at sacred sites across the land. Gwevaragh fades into history to become known as The Lady
Of The Lake, and The White Lady, who arises to bestow Excalibur and The Meonia Stone upon heroes who prove themselves worthy
in dire times.
We see THE MEONIA STONE being passed down through time, from hand-to-hand,
from one secret society to the next. It works its magic on history from behind the scenes, first with Jacques DeMolay and
the Knights Templar, only to find its last hiding place with Guy Fawkes and a group called The Gunpowder Plot Conspirators
in 1506 AD. After failing in their attempt to kill the evil King James and his parliament by blowing up the House of Lords,
and pursued by the avenging forces of the King, mystic clues are left as to its hiding place to be found by future seekers
and initiates when the world is once again in danger.
We jump to Victorian England where Mary
Heath and the MEONIA SOCIETY have knowledge of the MEONIA STONE’S location, and are faced with a grim threat. But the
threat is actually from within where a traitor in the group named John Langley works with the dark forces to get Mary to reveal
the location of the Meonia Stone. She does not and is killed by Langley, taking the secret to her grave. Langley’s spirit,
powered by the Dark Lords moves through time to the modern day….
Finally we move to the year 1978, where bumbling psychic investigators
Graham Phillips, Martin Keatman and Andy Collins, who run a two-bit WEEKLY WORLD NEWS-type magazine called PARASEARCH out
of their Woverhampton house, are called to Wales to investigate a wave of UFOs.
There, on
Friday, October 13, they meet Marion Sunderland and her precocious 12-year-old daughter Gaynor who is endowed with mysterious
spiritual gifts. During their interview with Marion she tries to teach the boys a meditation technique to increase their awareness,
only to have THE WHITE LADY (Queen Gwevaragh) appear, channeling a dire warning through Graham's body. A cult has learned
the Old Ways and seeks to open the door to the astral plane once again to call forth the demon Oah-Tet. They have until midnight
of the witches Sabbath of Samhain (Halloween, less than 18 days away!!) to unravel the ancient mystery and find Excalibur
and The Meonia Stone, for only their combined might can stop this force of evil. If they lose their race against time, it
will be, The White Lady laments, the end "....Of All You Know!"
Their only
clue is that the Stone once belonged to the Gunpowder Plot conspirators. Following their trail, and at the same time being
pursued by the Cult, they unravel the clues the 15th century conspirators have left behind. They find a marvelous sword, imbued
with a psychic message that can only be "read" by young Gaynor: A vision of a beautiful Swan with a pouch around
its neck. This clue leads Graham to a bend in the river Avon called The Swan's Neck where, using the sword as a dousing rod,
he manages to find The Meonia Stone.
Rushing to Marion's home, arriving just in the nick of time,
they focus their energy on the Stone. In a fierce, pitched magical battle, they use the Stone as a mirror to reflect the Cults
own black energy back upon them.
Or do they?
At a Christmas
Eve party at PARASEARCH HQ, all is right with the world, when suddenly a local policewoman becomes inexplicably possessed,
smashing up the house and badly injuring Graham, Andy and Martin before the spirit leaves the woman's body. The Cult has been
destroyed, but somehow the spirit, now badly wounded, got through the gateway and is getting stronger each day as it feeds
on the negativity of the world.
Now they are faced with the ultimate terror; an evil force
which can take possession of ANYONE at ANYTIME, growing stronger each day absorbing the horror of the planet, lying in wait
to strike.
This leads us into PART TWO of our epic saga…
Based upon years of study and research by world renowned paranormal authority Sean David Morton, “THE MEONIA
