In Norse mythology, Mjǫlnir is the hammer of Thor, a major god associated with thunder in Norse mythology. Distinctively shaped, Mjölnir is depicted in Norse mythology as one of the most fearsome weapons, capable of leveling mountains. Though generally recognized and depicted as a hammer, Mjölnir is sometimes referred to as an axe or club. In the 13th century Prose Edda, Snorri Sturluson relates that the Svartálfar Sindri and Brokkr made Mjöllnir at the command of Loki.

Dear Shareholders, Friends and anyone else interested;

First I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our new website.  I hope that you found it to be enjoyable and informative.

Over the past three years Asgaard Media has seen a number of potholes in the road to going public. I am glad to let all of you know that the new law firm, “Parsons/Burnett/Bjordahl LLP”, we hired is doing a stellar job and are only waiting for the final audited financials from our new auditors, Chang, Lee LLP.

The auditors have just completed review of the past three year’s records and are finishing the first quarter of 2011 for the SEC.  They plan on having them done by month end and we will be caught up with everything and filing what we hope are our last responses to comments. [ Read More ]

About Asgaard Media

Asgaard Media in Gold Point, Nevada, was formed in early 2008 to develop, finance, produce, and arrange for the distribution of feature film and television programming. By the first quarter of 2010, we had begun to generate revenue, and while not enough to cover all of the operations of the company, we have continued to grow each quarter since.

Our Beliefs

Our company's management has, through years of experience and exhaustive research, determined to produce low budget feature films based upon the belief that such a strategy offers a greater likelihood of financial success.

Furthermore, management believes that by operating outside the Hollywood Studio system, it will be more likely to create products of a unique nature whose merit and content would then have an advantage at the box office.

In support of that notion, former Fox Film Corp. Chairman Joe Roth was quoted in the March 31, 1992 daily Variety as stating, "The fact of the matter is, someone makes a good idea, a good story, it doesn't matter who's in it, and frankly not too much who directs it, and people will come and revenues will go up."

Our Principal

This basic principal remains as true today as it was then. Our management team has chosen a budget for our films that it believes will afford investors a rare opportunity to become involved in the making of a film with a relatively small dollar investment while still maintaining quality production values.

Specifically, our strategy is to produce theatrical motion pictures with an estimated budget range of $3,000,000 to $10,000,000. This budget is for both the mainstream market in the U.S., as well as to an extent feasible throughout the rest of the world, in order for the shareholders to participate in the global revenue-generating prospects of a continuously growing industry.

The Future

Asgaard Media intends to produce 2 to 5 feature films or television pilots per year. The proposed films are all designed for theatrical release with the television/small screen projects looking toward both standard television formatting and the evolving webisode and social network spin-offs.

Although Asgaard Media is based around the production of films that are acceptable and appropriate for anyone from your 6-year-old son or daughter through your 90-year-old grandmother, we are still reaching out and reviewing projects outside of this area. We are here acting as either a distribution partner or production consultant, thereby generating additional income for our shareholders.
